  • Burglary is a rather widespread crime with more than 2 million offenses recorded by the police annually and more than 3 million reported in victimization surveys. The gap between these measures is rather large because burglaries are rarely solved. Robberies and burglaries are usually quick and are over and done with before anyone knows anything is missing.

Surveys shows that most of these cases happen at unoccupied sites. Although there are many security systems nowadays, most of them has limitations. The existing surveillance systems can be helpful after the crime/theft has been over. But as its always said "Prevention is better than cure", a system to prevent the burglary is most needed. Unless the perpetrator is caught at the scene of the crime, these types of crimes are very difficult to be solved.

Economical surveillance systems efficient in preventing crimes is the need of the hour.

  • Almost everyone, be it rich or poor, residing in urban or rural area, are affected by this problem.
